Treatment of Yeast Overgrowth

Candida, otherwise known as Yeast, is a single celled fungus that exists in our environment and can grow within our bodies and skin causing infection and disease.

Our immune system and healthy bacteria in our colon typically regulate the amount of yeast in our bodies. However, the overuse of antibiotics and overabundance of processed foods, places a strain on our immune system killing off the good-bacteria in our colon inhibits the control of yeast growth.

An overgrowth of yeast in our bodies results in a compromised immune function and often contributes to on-going illnesses including sinus-infections, allergies, yeast-infections, and simply feeling bloated, uncomfortable, and leaving you tired.

Too often, these symptoms are treated with prescription medications and the root causes of your symptoms are not determined.  We have found that by treating for yeast overgrowth, many of these symptoms disappear!

Antibiotics, synthetic steroids, and even birth control pills all contribute to killing off the normal amount of healthy bacteria in our bodies. Furthermore diets high in refined sugar, flour, processed foods, and even alcohol cultivate a yeast friendly environment.

Our treatment plan includes eliminating yeast from the diet, eradicating the existing yeast in the colon and then repopulating the colon with healthy bacteria.
